The booklet says to "readjust" the nutrients for this but which ones and how? For example, it's typically recommended to add the least soluble, or heaviest nutrient to your reservoir first. For instance, Micro is the "heaviest" fertilizer in our GP3 nutrient system and by adding it to your reservoir first, Micro will be given more time to become soluble in water. Also, some fertilizers will either raise or lower the pH of your nutrient solution. PK Spike and Plant Guard are two examples of products that will raise the pH of your nutrient solution. So, to avoid complex measuring, mixing and buffering, it's highly recommended that fertilizers with a high pH are added last. Slow growth can be a sign of issues to come, so be aware of potential factors that influence slow or stunted progression in the garden. So, if you notice slow growth, start by managing the potential environmental factors that cause stunted progression. Afterward, consider adding GreenPlanet’s Ocean Magic to your established feeding routine.
- [Small Flowers](https://greenplanetnutrients.com/grower-issues/flowering/small-flowers/): Small flowers are underdeveloped buds that have a soft and sponge-like texture. Usually caused by poor genetics, lighting, or inadequate nutrition, small flowers are annoying to trim and possess little to no dry weight. To cultivate large, fully developed buds, consider including a bloom-enhancing supplement in your regular feeding routine. 
- [Root Rot](https://greenplanetnutrients.com/grower-issues/root-rot/): Root rot is the archnemesis of the hydroponic gardener. If left untreated, root rot can spread like wildfire and quickly disrupt natural patterns of growth. At the extreme, root rot even has the potential to devastate a crop and leave nothing but the withered and maimed structure of once happily growing plants. Root rot, or pythium, is a fungal root disease that can be identified in a variety of crops. This issue is likely caused by a lack of drainage, oxygen, or the unmitigated presence of moisture in the root zone. Root rot will cause a plant to wilt, become sickly, and cease the uptake of water and liquid nutrients. 
- [Nutrient Deficiencies](https://greenplanetnutrients.com/grower-issues/nutrient-deficiencies/): Without access to essential elements, crops can exhibit deficiencies such as yellow, purple, or bronze discoloration, spotting, interveinal chlorosis and slow, or stunted growth. Common nutrient deficiencies can devastate crops or drastically diminish yields. To avoid common deficiencies, enrich your crop with a well-rounded feeding program. However, if you notice potential nutrient deficiencies at any stage, consider supplementing your crop with additional primary, secondary, and micronutrients. 
- [Loose Bud](https://greenplanetnutrients.com/grower-issues/flowering/loose-bud/): Loose, sponge-like flowers can be highly disappointing. Caused by a combination of poor genetics, inadequate nutrients, swings in temperature/humidity, insufficient lighting, and stress, loose buds are hardly worth harvesting. Soft, fluffy flowers can also be deceiving. So, to avoid the upset of harvesting loose bud, gently squeeze one of your colas to test the rigidity of your ripening flowers.
