July 12, 2022 at 12:46 pm in reply to: Can I use Backcountry Blend in my indoor organic soil mix? #2554863Mya GreenKeymaster
Backcountry Blend may not be suitable if you are running a pure organic garden. BCB is not an
organic product, and when mixed with an already fertilized soil, can lead to an overwhelming mix for
plants to uptake.July 12, 2022 at 12:43 pm in reply to: Can I run Root Builder in deep water culture systems? #2554860Mya GreenKeymasterYou can run Root Builder in DWC. It may create a bit of biofilm in the system but as long as the
system is clean between runs you should not run into any issues.July 12, 2022 at 12:43 pm in reply to: I’m using your Dual Fuel Feed Program. What else can I add for an extra boost? #2554857Mya GreenKeymasterIf you’re already using one of our feeding programs, consider adding a source of humic/fulvic acid
for an extra boost. Our humic and fulvic acid supplements called GPH Uptake and GPF Uptake both
act as nutrient catalysts and chelators when added to the root zone. When GPH/GPF is added to a
standard feeding program, nutrients become almost instantly bioavailable to plants, leading to
increase water retention, nutrient uptake, and thicker stems, stalks, and branchesMya GreenKeymasterYes, all fertilizers will impact the pH of your nutrient solution. Most of our products like Massive
and Medi-One are acidic, and will therefore lower the pH of your nutrient solution. Others, such as
PK Spike and Plant Guard are alkaline and will raise the pH of water. Most plants will uptake
nutrients at pH levels between 5.8 – 6.5. So, measure your inputs and make sure your nutrient
solution is between these levels.Mya GreenKeymasterRun Bud Booster at 1/2 to 3/4 strength in weeks 4,5 and 6. You get the best of both worlds cause
you’re getting your spike of PK from the added Bud Booster and all the benefits of Massive’s
trichome production. You can run the rest of the Feed Program at full strength. If you do start to see
tip burn then you can back off slightly on the bases. At full strength, Bud Booster will raise your
PPMs by approximately 150Mya GreenKeymasterPK Spike has an NPK of 0-14-15, making it an extremely aggressive bloom booster. Use PK Spike
alongside any GreenPlanet base nutrient system during weeks 2-6 of an 8 week flowering strain; or,
use as prescribed by the GreenPlanet and AutoPot Feed Program chart.July 12, 2022 at 12:38 pm in reply to: Do you have a product with live fungi/bacteria/microbes? #2554845Mya GreenKeymasterIf you’re interested in a source of microbes, try Root Builder. Root Builder is our root zone
inoculant comprised of specifically selected beneficial bacillus bacteria. It promotes a healthy and
active root zone at all stages of growth.Mya GreenKeymasterTo avoid deficiencies, coco coir will need to be supplemented with excess amounts of calcium
magnesium. Use our calcium magnesium supplement called Pro-Cal at full strength whenever
gardening in a coco medium.Mya GreenKeymasterMassive can be used in select hydroponic systems. Here is a list of hydroponic systems that
Massive is suitable for use in: Flood and Drain (Ebb & Flow), free-flowing drip irrigation, nutrient film
technique (NFT). Since Massive contains more than just mineral salts, it can create build-up in some
more complicated hydroponic systems. Avoid using Massive in systems that utilize smaller irrigation
lines, drip emitters or internal float-valves. If you are choosing to use Massive in select hydroponic
systems, gently aerate your nutrient solution and change your reservoir regularly.Mya GreenKeymasterDense(Horti rawK) is formulated from “muriate of potash”, a highly soluble source of potash. This
is what allows Dense the high potassium content of 0-0-62, while still being able to become soluble
in water.July 12, 2022 at 12:32 pm in reply to: Is there a noticeable difference in results between all your feed programs? #2554833Mya GreenKeymasterAmong our mineral-based feeding programs, there will not likely be a noticeable difference in the
outcome of your crop. However, there will be a major difference in how the product is used. For
example, some feeding programs are more advanced than others. So, choose a program that is
aligned with your particular skill set and desired outcome. If you prefer organic crops, for instance,
our 1-Part Medi-One feeding program will likely be a good fit for your garden. Check out our feed
program page to see which one will suit your needs:Mya GreenKeymasterMost of our products are mineral-based fertilizers that contain a unique blend of macro and
micronutrients. However, some of our products contain powerful organic material. Medi-One, for
instance, is our flagship organic fertilizer that is formulated with sea kelp and Atlantic menhaden,
which is slow-steamed to preserve valuable minerals and amino acids. Medi-One is also OMRI
certified, meaning its formula is assured against organic manufacturing standards.July 12, 2022 at 12:29 pm in reply to: Will your products harm the microbes/enzymes/bacteria in my grow medium? #2554827Mya GreenKeymasterNone of our products will harm or decrease beneficial bacteria activity in the root zone. Many of
our products, like Massive, Liquid Weight and Karbo Boost, contain a unique blend of carbohydrates
designed to increase the size and reproductivity capacity of microbes and beneficial fungi. Read the
link below to learn more about the power of carbohydrates in the garden.Mya GreenKeymasterWe recommend a flushing period of at least two weeks. However, individual flushing
requirements may vary. For example, some hydroponic systems flush plants much faster than
traditional drain to waste systems. If you’re curious about the flushing requirements of a specific
system, please contact a GreenPlanet sales rep for more answers.July 12, 2022 at 12:11 pm in reply to: I flower my plants over 7 weeks but your feed charts only go to week 7. What do I do? #2554820Mya GreenKeymasterIf you’re cultivating a strain with a flowering time over 8 weeks, consider repeating week 7 of our
feeding chart. With a 12 week strain, for instance, repeat the 7th week of the feeding chart until the
10th week of flower and follow this with a flushing period of two weeks. -
