Consider repeating the last week or the “aggressive vegetative” stage of our feeding program if
you’re planning on extending your crop’s vegetative period. This will allow your plants to get larger,
while still supplying them with an adequate amount of food during the vegetative stage.

BackCountry Blend (BCB) can be used successfully in both indoor and outdoor cultivation. While
BCB can be used in all soil based growing systems, it was specifically designed for use in outdoor
cultivation. If you plan on using BCB indoors, be aware that BackCountry Blend is a slow-release
fertilizer, and upon application, will continue to release nutrients into the root zone for 3-4 weeks.
So, be sure to allow your plants an adequate flushing period of at least 14 days before harvest.

There are no “hard” rules when it comes to mixing our nutrients; however, there are some tips
that might be helpful. For example, it’s typically recommended to add the least soluble, or heaviest
nutrient to your reservoir first. For instance, Micro is the “heaviest” fertilizer in our GP3 nutrient
system and by adding it to your reservoir first, Micro will be given more time to become soluble in
water. Also, some fertilizers will either raise or lower the pH of your nutrient solution. PK Spike and
Plant Guard are two examples of products that will raise the pH of your nutrient solution. So, to
avoid complex measuring, mixing and buffering, it’s highly recommended that fertilizers with a high
pH are added last. For general mixing and measuring information, refer to our online nutrient
    calculator.

It all depends on your hydroponic system. Flood and drain (ebb & flow), or free-flowing irrigation
systems would have no problem managing both Massive and Liquid Weight. However, using these
products in smaller more intricate systems like aeroponic or drip-irrigation may cause some clogging
and/or sediment build-up. Massive and Liquid Weight contain sugar derivatives that may settle in
pipes, fittings and float-valves. So, any system that utilizes small fittings, float-valves or pipes should
    avoid these supplements.

Dense (Horti-RawK) is a standalone bud hardener designed to be used in the 6th or 7th week of
flower. Mix Dense into plain water at a rate of 1-2 g/1 L (4-8 g/1 Gal). At full strength, Dense is
extremely aggressive and can lead to PPM levels of approximately 1400. Because of this product’s
high levels of potassium (K), results may be visible quickly after the first or second application.

in reply to: How many plants can I grow with your Starter Kits? #2554802

GreenPlanet Starter Kits are designed to take four small/medium-sized plants from start to finish.
This time frame is an estimate based on a short vegetative period of 2 weeks, with an 8-week
flowering period. For the best results, plant food should be included with every second irrigation.

in reply to: Can I use Rezin during flush? #2554799

We recommend using Rezin through the flushing period to get the most of out the product. It will
not raise your PPM/EC and has been formulated so there is no aftertaste or undesired flavours, only
great aroma and an enhanced terpene profile come time for harvest.

in reply to: Can I use Medi One in a hydroponic grow system? #2554796
    Mya Green
    Keymaster

Due to the organic nature of Medi-One, we do not recommend using it in a hydroponic system.
Medi-One is extremely viscous and will lead to more success in a soil, peat, or coco based garden. A
mineral-based fertilizer, such as Dual Fuel, would be more suited for growing in a hydro system.

Rezin is our aroma and flavour-enhancing flowering additive that is a must-use in any liquid
GreenPlanet feed program. Rezin contains a more concentrated formula and does not impact your
PPM/EC levels. This means you can continue to use your other nutrients at full strength while using
Rezin. We recommend reaching out to the Terpinator team for more information on their product.

    Hi

We recommended using either Root Builder and/or Hydr-Ox

Note: Hydro-Ox is only available for purchase in Canada.

Root Builder is our root zone inoculant comprised of specifically selected beneficial bacillus
bacteria, while Hydr-Ox is a highly concentrated oxygen additive that promotes healthy
plant growth and maintenance by sterilizing and suppressing diseases in your grow
    environment.

Use Root Builder at a rate of 1.25 ml/L (5 ml/Gal). Apply at the recommended rates when
you suspect the development of root disease.

    Hi

We recommended using either Massive, Bud Booster, or PK Spike

These are our premier bloom enhancers to turn small flowers into large, trichome-covered
buds during the blooming stage. Massive and PK Spike are liquid flowering additives
formulated with concentrated amounts of phosphorus (P) and potassium (K), two elements
that are essential for fruiting and flowering plants. Bud Booster is a dry bloom enhancing
supplement designed to encourage vigorous buds during the flowering stage.

in reply to: My cannabis plants are stunted and slow to grow. #2554783

    Hi

This can be caused by a myriad of issues, slow or stunted growth can deter plants from
vertical growth during the vegetative stage, and budding during the flowering period.
These issues can be caused by

    ● Weak Genetics
    ● Inadequate Nutrients
    ● High/Low Temperature & Humidity Differential
    ● Insufficient Lighting
    ● Plant Stress

Our solution is to use Ocean Magic

Ocean Magic is our sea kelp additive that provides plants with an array of vitamins and
minerals. The wealth of ingredients found in Ocean Magic supports several functional
properties such as rooting and the reduction of environmental and plant stress.

Dilute 0.5 ml/L (2 ml/Gal) of Ocean Magic as a root soak, or, use it as a foliar spray at a rate
    of 5 ml/L (19 ml/Gal)
